Challenge
Host a scientific advisory board and congress for 1,200 oncologists and medical researchers. The event had to adhere to strict healthcare compliance guidelines (EFPIA and local laws) regarding food, hotel ratings, and speaker sponsorships.
Strategy
Established a dedicated compliance registry. We selected 4-star superior corporate business hotels rather than leisure resorts, designed structured educational tracks, and created audit-ready documentation.
Execution
Managed abstract submissions, organized multi-track presentation rooms at Fira Barcelona, built a custom digital check-in app that tracked doctor attendance for certification credits, and handled all flights under strict fare limits.
Results
Successfully passed 100% of external compliance audits. The congress generated over 45 academic paper proposals, and Biomedica research established key partnerships for their next Phase II trial phases.
